A New Step in Preschool Education: Practicum Classroom Inauguration Held
The inauguration of a special classroom was held for students in the Department of Preschool Education within the Department of Basic Education at our university, aimed at enhancing their practical skills.
This pioneering initiative seeks to fill an important gap in preschool education, offering students a more effective learning experience. The new practicum classroom is designed to meet practical needs in preschool education and to provide students with hands-on experience, allowing them to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.
The inauguration of the Preschool Practicum Classroom was attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican, along with our Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Kenan Yıldırım, Rector’s Advisor Dr. Ender Can Dönmez, Secretary General Harun Demir, faculty members, and students. Guests had the opportunity to closely examine the classroom’s design and content.
With this new practicum classroom, we aim to equip students with real-world experience, helping them transition more smoothly into their professional careers after graduation. This space is expected to contribute to the development of students' practical skills, allowing them to effectively utilize learning centers, classroom design, and teaching materials.
