The Colorful Dreams April 23rd Festival
In celebration of this special and significant day dedicated to children as a symbol of our independence and sovereignty, now in its 104th anniversary, the Colorful Dreams Preschool Community, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Demir Öztürk, organized the “Colorful Dreams April 23rd Festival” for children. The program included face-painting stations set up by preschool education students, as well as clown performances, poetry, rhythm and dance shows, and various competitions.
Face-painting activities were held before the program, allowing guest children and adults to participate in these fun activities at the face-painting booths. The main event, “Colorful Dreams April 23rd Celebration,” began with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, followed by opening remarks. The program commenced with an opening speech by the Colorful Dreams Community’s Academic Advisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Demir Öztürk, followed by remarks from Mehmet Ferit Gergin, the principal of Kumluca Primary School, highlighted the day’s significance.
After the speeches, the Colorful Dreams Community presented a range of activities, including clown performances, children's songs sung by a choir, rhythmic dance, and competitive games. Additionally, children from Kumluca Primary School, a partner school of the Colorful Dreams Community, performed as part of the program. The children and parents from Kumluca village showed great interest in the event. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Demir Öztürk expressed their joy in celebrating this special day with children and contributing to their growth through new and enriching experiences.
