Muş Alparslan University, Department of Pre-School Education (MAUN-PSE) aims to train teachers with the following qualifications: developing with basic field and professional knowledge; have positive attitudes and behaviors towards children; sensitive to social and environmental problems; performing his/their profession within the framework of ethical rules; who keep up with the needs of our country and the modern world, who have high self-confidence. In order for MAUN-PSE to achieve this goal, the importance of education in community development and the role of well-equipped teachers in determining the quality of education are indisputably very important. In line with this understanding, the principles of MAUN-PSE a. equipped with theoretical and professional knowledge, b. have critical and creative thinking skills, c. designing and planning multi-dimensional learning environments, d. following current developments, e. problem-solver f. To train teachers who are sensitive to social problems. MAUN-PSE has a total of eight teaching staff, including one Associate Professor, three Doctoral Faculty Members, and four Research Assistants.
History
MAUN-PSE was established with the decision dated 06/08/1995, affiliated to Fırat University, and started to accept students in the 2005-2006 academic year. MAUN-PSE was affiliated with Muş Alparslan University on 29 May 2007.
Mission
MAUN-PSE's mission includes: to provide a highly qualified education and training program to recruit qualified teachers to the field; to carry out the necessary studies for the dissemination of pre-school education, emphasizing its importance and developing it; to improve the professional competencies of pre-school teachers working in the field; To carry out original scientific studies in the field of pre-school education and to organize qualified scientific activities.
Vision
To be a department at MAUN-PSE that contributes to the development of pre-school education with theoretical and applied studies and trains qualified teachers that our country needs.
